Find Naperville Marriage Records

Naperville marriage records are kept by the DuPage County Clerk, not the Naperville City Clerk. Like every city in Illinois, marriage licenses and certificates go through the county level. A small part of Naperville extends into Will County, and those residents may need to use the Will County Clerk in Joliet. If you want to search for or get copies of Naperville marriage records, the DuPage County Clerk is the right place to start.

Marriage Record Verification for Naperville

The Illinois Department of Public Health can verify facts about a Naperville marriage that took place from 1962 to the present. This is not a certified copy. The fee is $5 per search, and you send the request by mail to the Division of Vital Records in Springfield. Processing takes about 12 weeks.
